Captain Marvel has been out for over seven days now, and it is excelling at the theaters. It has been acclaimed by the critics too, and despite the fact that a few fans have had somewhat of an issue with Brie Larson, the reaction to the film has still been extraordinary to a great extent. This is positively not the best MCU motion picture as it has its imperfections, however, you can’t state that Captain Marvel is a bad film. She has got the start that she needed, and now she is prepared to be set up as the Most grounded MCU Superhero.

What we found in Captain Marvel was only a mystery for what we are going to get from her in Avengers: Endgame. In any case, what would it be a good idea for us to take off her beyond Endgame? The overwhelming hitters of the MCU are going to leave with just 2 or 3 of the first 6 continuing. So it will be upon the new players to come in and take the responsibility of leading the MCU in the not so distant future. Black Panther with his immense Box Office potential is certainly going to be one of them, but who will be the face of the MCU just as Iron Man was? According to Kevin Feige, it is going to be Captain Marvel!

After the release of Captain Marvel solo, Marvel has also released the ‘Captain Marvel The Official Movie Special’ book and it has some exclusive interviews from the creatives involved with the film. Kevin Feige, in particular, has talked in detail about Captain Marvel as a character, and her future in the MCU. Here’s what he said:

“The great thing about Captain Marvel is she is a human. She’s a real person, Carol Danvers, who gets these incredible powers and who has these amazing adventures in outer space. But as with all of the best Marvel characters, she needs to be very human. So this is not just about somebody who is incredibly powerful and can fly around and shoot photon blasts out of her hands; it’s somebody who’s very human, who’s very vulnerable, and who has multiple dimensions.”

He added that Captain Marvel will be at the forefront of the MCU in the future, so we can assume that she will lead the next team of Avengers. Feige said:

“When we found out that Brie Larson might be interested in joining our world, we had a number of meetings. She was a huge fan of the character in the comics. One of the highlights of my career at Marvel was introducing her at Comic-Con and having her come out on stage and stand there with literally almost everybody else from our movies. There she was at the forefront, and it was a great foreshadowing – not just for how audiences are going to embrace Brie as this character, but also for how Captain Marvel is about to take the lead and be at the forefront of the entire Cinematic Universe.”

He even went on to talk about the immense power of Captain Marvel, saying that she really is *the* most powerful character in the MCU!

“In our comics mythology, Captain Marvel is a character who’s got one foot on Earth and one foot in the cosmic arena. Now that we’ve made a number of movies that take place on Earth, and a number of cosmic adventures with the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor, we thought it was the right time to finally introduce Captain Marvel to the world. She’s one of the most powerful – and one of the most popular – characters in our comics, and will be the most powerful character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

We are yet to see how powerful she is as compared to the likes of Hulk and Thor, but if the man behind everything in the MCU is saying so, then it would be wise for us to believe him. Still, something tells us that Captain Marvel will prove herself to be stronger than Hulk, Thor, and Thanos in the upcoming mega-crossover event.
