Even the rich and famous get fed up sometimes. It’s understandable when Hollywood stars get annoyed with paparazzi, but you’d think they’d be a bit more patient when they have encounters with fans. Unfortunately, some famous people were apparently jerks even before they were famous. Fan stories about rude and mean celebrities can be pretty shocking.
So, these are the rudest celebrities according to fans.
Thought the Canadian heart-throb was charismatic? Eh, not really. Justin Bieber has been known to be not the nicest of celebs. He may have millions in the bank, but he sure doesn’t have a lot of class. In 2017 it was reported that he told a female fan she was “the worst”, and in 2016 yelled at fans for talking during his concert. It was also said that in 2013, the singer spat on fans beneath his Toronto hotel room, though, it was later concluded that no fans were below the balcony when he was spitting.
Amy Schumer has never held herself back from stating whatever the hell she wants. She is this way onstage and off. Recently, she took to Instagram to publically shame a fan who asked her to pose in a picture. She apparently totally hates pictures and has been this way her entire life. We get you, Amy, but this behavior is not necessary!
This one is pretty interesting. In Kathy Griffin’s memoir, she shared a story about Jon Hamm. He apparently aggressively confronted her at a party without asking her who invited her. He made a number of rude comments about her “failed” career and commented on her age. That’s not so nice, Jon.
Robert Pattinson is known for his appearance in the Twilight movie franchise that caught the world’s attention in the 2000s. In 2013 he explained, “Twilight has its own parallel world, it's own fan culture that has been forming on the net since day one. And in an intense way that has never existed before. Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day. They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight.
During the 1996 Olympics, Bruce Willis and his then-wife Demi Moore stopped at a California Pizza Kitchen in Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta for a bite to eat. Recognizing the actor, two boys around the age of ten began smiling and pointing at him from a distance. Bruce stood up angrily, yelling at the two boys for interrupting his peaceful lunch.
After Miley tried to kiss Katy Perry at one of her concerts, Katy later joked that she doesn’t know where Cyrus’ tongue had been. Miley responded on Twitter, dissing Katy and her ex-boyfriend. Miley has been known to also cause mayhem in other domains…talk about a lobby trasher! This pop-star is less than neat when she visits hotels.
An 8-year-old fan reported that after telling CZJ she wanted to be an actress, Catherine replied “You’re pretty enough, I suppose”, then went back to her conversation. The fan now recalls, 30 years after the incident, that this was the turning point in her life when she went from feeling at ease in the world, to constantly thinking about how everyone was judging her on her appearance.
An employee reported that Orlando once parked his motorcycle in the middle of the sidewalk outside of the menswear store he worked at. He came in without a shirt on and yelled across the store, trying to find his “bro.” If that wasn’t bad enough, after picking out clothes, he asked, “Is there an Orlando Bloom is wearing your shirt discount?”
When Mandy Moore collided with a shopper, she just stared at him instead of helping him pick up the stuff he had dropped. When he got in line to pay, she stood behind him complaining that she was in a hurry. He then headed to a smoothie shop afterward, and low and behold Moore walked in and got in line right behind him, still complaining.
